Correct, our Boys' HeatGear® Armour Long Sleeve (and HeatGear® in general) is intended to keep you cool. This product does not have built-in UPF or UV protection. Iso-Chill is also intended to keep you cool by pulling heat away from the skin and feels cool to the touch, taking our HeatGear concept one step further!
Hockey players don't need ColdGear just because they are playing on ice. It gets very hot under their gear and HeatGear is the right choice to wear under your hockey equipment. ColdGear for hockey would be if you are playing pond hockey outside in sub 30 degree weather.
