One of my favourite shirts for sure. I like how it fits baggy and it is oversized, perfect for comfort and to wear as a pump cover. Love it.
Although it's called "Heavyweight", it feels light weight and comfortable. I love wearing it at work - I work in a gym, so I'm active even when I'm not working out - I also feel really cool wearing it.
I ordered 3 of these shirts in different colors. They fit perfectly!! For reference, I am 195 pounds (muscular) at 5’10 feet tall. Also, the material feels great and doesn’t feel cheap. Can’t recommend them enough. I will most likely be buying a few more in the future.
Hi, there! Our UA Heavyweight shirt isn't available in a Tall length, but our UA Woven Label Heavyweight is! You can check it out at this link: https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/p/shirts_and_tops/ua_woven_label_heavyweight_mens_short_sleeve/6005668.html?extendedSize=Tall&dwvar_6005668_color=001
To answer my own question, this tee is OK but not ideal for the gym. You can use it no problem, but it will get heavier than most tees once soaked, and it will feel warmer until it starts to soak (at which point the evaporating sweat probably helps to keep it cool). Was not a problem for me but it did make it obvious that this should not be your go-to gym tee unless you really really like it better than your other tees. It's great outside of the gym though and it goes great with jeans in casual wear. I'll keep a few for that reason, but I no longer think I'll wear it much for exercise at the gym (although it probably would work great in a cool and dry outdoors setting maybe in late fall or early spring). The style is really cool though and I'm glad this tee is available.
A medium fits me as well as a typical large, just with drop shoulder and better drape around my body. In fact I feel like I have a bit more slack around my waist with this tee than I ever did with a typical large from UA. The large is intentionally oversized but it’s a much better look than any typical XL I’ve ever worn. You get extra slack but it’s all in the right places. And you don’t get the extra length that a typical XL would get you, the kind that makes you look like you’ve got a mini dress on. So a medium on this thing looks better than a typical large, and a large on this thing looks better than an XL. I wound up buying both sizes: medium for the gym and large for daily wear over jeans. I hate it when a tee catches in the rear instead of draping naturally, and a medium over jeans has that problem while the large does not. But that is not the problem when you have smooth polyester shorts on (not enough friction to catch the tee like denim would), so the medium works better in that case, especially because the extra slack of the large is a bit much when exercising. Plus the medium wraps more closely around your arms, flattering that part of you more, while still having that super chill drop shoulder look.
